What is Pilgrimage?? Is a journey to a sacred place or shrine to gain divine aide, as an of thanksgiving, or to demonstrate devotion. In the religion of Hinduism, which is one of the more unique religions has many pilgrimages. One of there pilgrimages is to a place name Varasani. This is one of the more sacred places in the Hinduism, due to the fact that it is where the Ganges, Varuna and Assi rivers meet, over 3000 years ago. Hindus believe that the city is tied to the god Shiva, the creator and destroyer. Every Hindus attempts to take this pilgrimage once in there lifetime and many of them believe that it is the holy place to die, due to it is believed that death at Varansi would release your soul from the cycle of rebirth.
