El Fleming, The Savior; an Ecosystem Under Stress

Goldschmitt in this book describes the ecosystem and how we interact with it. He describes the way in which the ecosystem defends itself. This is like lane's theory that the wilderness interacts with us, just as much as we interact with it. I feel like this is the healthiest of relationships, even if it does end up in the death of both parties. At the very least there is level footing.
