Jessica Simpson- Land and Creation

While doing research for my research paper on the Great Barrier Reef, I have discovered so much more spirituality than I ever thought I would. The location is precious not only to native Australians, but to people globally. There is the group of people called Sea Shepherds, they are conservationists . They are extremists who work to protect marine life and the seas and oceans. They are based in Washington state and have been included in television shows such as Whale Wars, where they are seem trying to disable Japanese ship who are harpooning or destroying the sea life.

But it isn't just the extremists who value the reef. The Catholic Church has been encouraging people to use whatever skills they may have to help protect the reef. People believe the area should be protected because some people consider these places land or seascapes of Creation. And because they are so beautiful they are clearly from a higher power, and although man can try and create and protect this land. The damage that is done by the human hand cannot be repaired alone by people. The world is so beautiful and only the land can repair our damage. These people who believe that by disrespecting the land, by fishing in it or destroying it in another manner, they are disrespecting God.
