Mark Dungan - Chosen 1

Now that this semester is coming to a close, i am trying to reflect on everything i have learned and seen. Just about everyday we have watched slide shows of Redick's jouneries all over the world. Some of the pictures i have seen throughout the year are unbelievable which makes me want to go out on these hikes just so that i can see these beautiful places for my own eyes. I think that hikers go out on these jounries obviously for the spiritual experiences but i think another advantage is being able to see some of the most beautiful places in the world. Living in a suburban area for all my life, it is hard to believe that there are places even in the United States that are so beautiful. I believe that people need to be able to get out in the wilderness and experience natures true beauty at some point in their lives.
