Mark Dungan- Sacred Place

Since we started learning about Sacred Places and their characteristics, I have had a few questions on what qualifies a place to be "sacred". In order for a place to be sacred, does it need to include all 4 axioms included in Lane's book? Or can a place be called sacred if it has just 3, 2 or 1 of the axioms? I believe that regaurdless of whether a place includes the axioms or not, that it can still be sacred. A sacred place can be considered sacred for one person and just an ordinary place for another. As long as a place has a certain meaning to a person than I believe they have the right to call it a sacred place. For example atheltes may consider their arena or playing field is sacred to them where as someone who is not interested in sports may feel that its just a patch of grass or block of ice. The point I am getting at it that I think that there is no right or wrong answer to what a sacred place can and cannot be.
