sacred place

Kim Adney 3-16-10
Lane discusses the way sacred place participates in the entire assortment of sensory interactions that engage in recreation across the land, reaching beyond the impact of human influence alone. The description of wind through the limbs of a tree is enough to put a picture in ones head. A place demands its own integrity and participation in what it becomes while developing its own voice. A sacred place is more than just a construction of the human imagination.
