Spenser Fleming--Turner and Communitas

Turner states there are three different types of communitas: Spontaneous, Normative, and Ideological. Spontaneous is what I would believe to form while on a pilgrimage trail, because it is the opposite of social structure and there is no real structure on the trails. Normative I am unsure of an example, but it is what results from trying to add rules within a spontaneous system in attempts to preserve it. Ideological is a recreation of the spontaneous experiences, no idea of an example of this. I understand the basics of communitas in the sense of a pilgrimage but Turner goes a little deeper and I lose it.
