Andrew Carr- Tread Upon

Lang's axiom states that sacred place can be tread upon without being entered. I believe that this is experienced through those memories and rituals that continue to be observed and followed time and again. A personal experience for me is my annual journey of myself and two of my good friends to the US Airborne Museum in Fayetteville, NC. We have made a yearly journey since we have been discharged to go back and remember our fallen comrades and those still fighting. We tour the museum talk for hours about our experiences and friends and remember those sacred places to us that changed many of our lives.
