Jessica Simpson- Flow

In class we best described flow as the moment when you are so in tune with whatever it is your doing you lose the ability to think about what it is your doing. In athletics, when an athlete is in a game and is concentrating on playing and their actions become second nature and are preformed without thought. Flow is a state of embodiment that cannot be forced.
Everyone has experienced this before I’m sure.

For me I fall into flow sometimes when I am painting, the brush takes itself where it wants, and I am only its host. I don’t think about my actions and where I want to go with the painting but it becomes a work on its own. It’s entirely relaxing to be concentrated on something without using all the energy it normally takes to focus.
