Jessica Simpson- second axiom

In Lane’s book, Landscapes of the Sacred, the second axiom listed as a requirement of a place to call it sacred is, “a sacred place is an ordinary place, ritually made extraordinary.”

Any location can be deemed sacred by any individual, it simply has to be a place that someone deems important enough to commute to several times and is worth the journey each and every time. By continuously returning to the same location, by making it a ritual.
There is a location in the back of my friends house that I love, and frequently visit when I am home. It is off a beaten trail a ways and is just a field of overgrown grass that is surrounded by trees. It changes with the seasons and is beautiful
