Jillian Daniel Outside reading Blog 14

Mitchell Gaynor's book, "Sounds of healing: a physician reveals the therapeutic power of sound, voice, and music," the elements of nature are diseceted and analyzed. Nature produces intoxicating smells, music, rain, wind, and so many other elements; all of which evoke emotions out of human. It's been scientifically proven that essential oils found in nature can be used to heal. Music, with its' harmony and tone, can bring happiness to its' listeners. The landscape as a whole can symbolize certain emotions. Many different cultures have been encourporating elements of nature into healing techniques. I've never truely been a fan of medicine. In fact I think that people should avoid taking medicine whenever they can so that their body will be able to have the ability to fight off illnesses on their own. Using herbal remedies instead of medicine as much as possible would detox the body instead of polluting it like other medicines.
