One thing I have realized about myself from the summer between my freshman and sophomore years at CNU, is that I do not enjoy being idle. During the semester I was always busy but I was content and got a sense of satisfaction from completing all of my work well and on time. I took a summer course last year and because it took up a lot of my time I did not apply for a job. This proved to be a mistake because for the few weeks between when my course ended and fall semester starting I was very dissatisfied. I wanted to have something do do because since college had started for me I always had work to do for classes. This was a liminal period for me.
