Mark Dungan- Chosen 3
How does one find inherent power? From class this year, we learned that inherent power comes from deep within one's self. This means that no one can tell you or teach you how to have this power. The only person that can find this power is yourself. Athletes for example need to be able to find their inherent power in order for them to be successful. Before games, players mentally prepare themselves for their upcoming game in which in this process, they should find their inherent power. I believe that finding your inherent power is included in the process of getting in the flow or in the "zone". In order for one to be successful especially at sports, they cannot skip from one to get to another and hope it works. This means that they cannot find their inherent power and still get fully in that flow. Those athletes who are able to consistently do this process are the ones that you see excelling at their respective sports.
