What is flow? How does one tell that they are in the flow or in the "zone"? Flow was fouded by Csikszentimihalyi in which there are four aspects to flow. 1. A person is fully emerged in their actions. 2. Feeling of energied focus. 3. Full envolvement. 4. Success in the process of the action. The best example for flow is athletes. While preparing for games, they need to prepare physically as well as mentally. Some players enjoy getting hyped up and jumping around to get themselves in the zone where as other players do it calmly. During the preparation process, athletes need to think about what they need to do in order to be successful. This allows them to fully emerse themselves in their actions. Once they visualize and focuse their energy on what they need to accomplish, they need to go out and execute. If they fully commit themselves to their goals, then they will become successful in their actions in which they will be in the flow of the game.
