Reflecting on this pledging process I have come to realize the liminality I am experiencing these days. I could not imagine a quote that better sums up my experience thus far than this- "During the liminal period, the characteristics of the liminars (the subjects in this phase) are none of the attributes of the past or coming state." Since beginning the process my life has absolutely changed and I have been introduced into a world that I never knew existed. That being said, being a pledge is nothing like being a brother and my life will completely change again as soon as initiation comes around. I am a liminar.
